I Lift My Lamp Beside The Golden Door Pin
I remember reading the "The New Colossus" sonnet that is mounted in the Statue of Liberty after I became a US citizen and being very affected by the line "Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" It makes me think of becoming a US citizen and now being responsible for opening the doors for others to do the same.
So with this pin I'm trying to "lift my lamp" and do what I can by donating 75% of the profits from these pins to RAICES.

Customer ReviewsWrite a review
Though this review is a little after the fact, this gorgeous pin dropped at a very opportune time: weeks after I became a U.S. citizen. I believe I preordered it, I was so excited. Great design referencing a beautiful sonnet. The pin is phenomenal quality. Though the design may not have the same meaning and impact to many others, I do think it's symbolic of what America can and should be. Immigrating is a huge deal and this small symbol advertises my pride in becoming an American citizen. Donating profits to RAICES is just the cherry on top.
